At arden house DENTAL, we use the CEREC system to make and fit an all ceramic crown while you wait. In the old days, you would have seen us for an impression, waited three weeks and then come back to have the crown fitted. Not any more.
Today, we scan the tooth and then design the perfect crown on the computer screen - right in front of you.
Then, while you sit downstairs (reading a magazine and listening to music) a precision milling machine creates a ceramic crown that is just the right size and shape to fit your original tooth.
Then, we just bond it into place with a special glue. And that’s it. Your new all ceramic crown’s in place with everything done in under 90 minutes!
We make our ceramic fillings in exactly the same way.
