What are Inman aligners?
The Inman alinger is a removable appliance that provides a quick solution to straightening teeth.
How do Inman aligners work?
Inman alingers are made with nickel titanium springs that work against each other to guide teeth into their final position. Two alingers bows gradually tighten, pushing the inner bow forward and pulling back on the front teeth.
The main advantage of Inman Aligers is the fast treatment time, which is between 6-18 weeks though your dentist here at Arden will provide you with a more exact time frame.
What does the treatment involve?
- Your Arden House dentist will make an impression of your teeth which will then be sent tothe lab where your aligner will be made.
- You will usually need to come and visit us (on average fortnightly), so we can check on your progress.
Benefits
- Treatment can be completed quickly as mentioned above (between 6-18 weeks).
- You can remove the brace at any time, making it easier to clean it and to eat foods that might otherwise inhibit your brace treatment.
- Once your teeth have moved into a chosen position, we will provide you with a discreet retainer.
- It’s an affordable treatment.
ClearSmile Aligners
These aligners are a virtually invisible type of brace used to help you on the journey to a straighter smile.
What does the treatment involve?
Your Arden House dentist will take impressions and photographs of your teeth and from this, your approximate treatment time will be calculated. You will be able to get an idea of the outcome of your treatment before beginning!
You will be fitted with your first aligner (we may smooth your teeth to make way for movement). Each of your aligners must be worn for a week. The number of aligners required depends on the desired effect you would like. You will be invited to have regular reviews throughout treatment.
As with Inman Aligners, once your teeth have moved to a position you and your dentist are happy with, you will be given a discreet retainer to wear to complete the last sequence of treatment.
