You’re Patients are in Safe Hands

A specialist is a registered clinician who has received additional training and met certain criteria in a particular area; it is a GDC recognisable qualification. It is not possible to be a specialist in Implantology but evidently there are clinicians who have a special interest in this treatment and have invested in further training to do so.

Sarah, Michael, Jerry and Joel make up our clinical implant team; they have all carried out additional training at reputable institutes in order to treat patients safely and appropriately. In addition, our nurses have undergone extra training in implantology and the aseptic techniques recommended.

What can we offer?

We are happy to assist you in any aspect of your patients’ implant journey, beginning with a FREE implant consultation.

We have our own CBCT machine. 3-Dimensional images can be taken to help reduce risks, aid diagnosis and plan treatment.
Guided implant surgery using specialised stents to accurately place implants exactly where planned, avoiding vital structures, optimising the positioning and alignment.

We are also happy to accept written referrals for patients needing CBCT images alone. Evidently CBCT images may be required for other clinical reasons such as root canal treatment, TMJ or dental extractions, we are happy to carry these out for you too. You will receive a copy of the scan and a written report.

Our combined training and experience mean that we can offer a wide range of implant options. Implants can replace single, multiple or all teeth. We work closely with our dental laboratories to provide patients with a variety of restorative options to suit their needs and budget.

If you would like us to simply plan and place the implants we are of course happy to return patients to you for the restorative process and should it help, we can assist you with the appropriate instruments to do this.

Grafting may be required to improve the quantity, quality and aesthetics of the implant treatment. Immediate implants may be preferable, along with socket preservation techniques; therefore, it is beneficial if we are able to assess patients prior to any pending dental extraction. In addition, examining their existing dentition can really help with treatment planning the patients’ desired end result and occlusion.

Why Else Choose Arden House?

We have a free parking right outside our surgery and access to a downstairs surgery should patients not be able to manage the stairs.

IV sedation is also available for nervous or apprehensive patients or those simply wishing to make a procedure a little more pleasant. Please let us know if this is of interest, we wish to make any treatment as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

Our in-house Periodontal Specialist, Joel Thomas is available to offer his specialist knowledge and experience; this can be particularly useful in planning a staged approach to implant placement and tooth removal.

Jerry Farrier, Oral and Maxillofacial Consultant, has vast experience in implant treatment. He is the lead implantologist for the Gloucestershire NHS Trust, placing implants in many oncology patients to not only replace lost teeth but also other anatomical features such as eyes and noses. His surgical expertise mean we are able to advise and treat the more complex of cases here at Arden House.
