Do you have broken, damaged or chipped teeth? Ceramic crowns are one of the best treatments when it comes to salvaging and strengthening broken teeth. Dental crowns emulate the shape of a real tooth, fitting over the top of the damaged tooth. There is no need for impressions or follow-up appointments – walk-in and walk out with a new smile!
Your dentist will explain the ins and outs of what is involved and you will be able to choose the desired shade of your tooth beforehand.
There are different types of crown depending on which tooth needs replacing. For example damaged teeth at the back of the mouth need to be stronger and damaged teeth at the front of the mouth need to be made from more aesthetic materials that match the colour and texture of your natural teeth.
If you have more than a single missing tooth, we can create a bridge which replaces the missing teeth with artificial ones and there is no need for dentures. The synthetic tooth or teeth are anchored to your natural teeth on either side or one side of the gap, creating a dental bridge. Our dentists work closely with the dental technicians to ensure you receive the best restoration(s) and that there is no need for any refits.
A little more about CEREC technology …..
CEREC has undergone more than 25 years of continuous development and over 250 scientific studies documenting clinical security, so it’s a treatment you can trust. Here at Arden, we make the crowns in house while you wait, so there’s no sending away to the dental lab and needing to wait for them to be sent back over a period.
Arden house are one of the few practices in the Cheltenham and Gloucester area who have invested in the latest version of CEREC technology. We can make multiple crowns as well as veneers and small bridges – all in house. We have over 10 years of experience with CEREC and patients can watch their teeth being designed.
