Ben grew up in Shropshire and after completing a degree in Biomedical Sciences, graduated from the University of Leeds Dental School in 2020. He then completed 2 years of further training in general dental practices and hospital in Lancashire, providing oral surgery and sedation for referred patients. This was followed by a hospital post in Restorative Dentistry and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, also in the Northwest, before deciding to move back into general practice, where he worked in the Lake District. During these years, Ben presented his research at national conferences and won awards for the best presentation at regional study days.
Ben likes a wide variety of dentistry but particularly enjoys oral surgery and treating nervous patients. He is happy to provide sedation for these anxious patients where required. He also has experience with implant dentistry and is keen to develop this further at Arden House, regularly being engaged with further training and courses to develop as a dentist.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors, usually cycling or running in the hills or visiting friends and family.
