At Arden House Dental we understand that having discoloured, blemished, chipped or misaligned teeth can make you feel self-conscious about your smile and this can have a detrimental affect on your whole wellbeing. However, we can offer a solution. By fitting veneers – a thin porcelain cover that is bonded to your existing teeth – we can disguise any imperfections, and give you straighter, whiter teeth and a flawless natural looking smile.
Designed to normally cover the front teeth that are visible when smiling or talking, veneers are an effective long term cosmetic solution for damaged or uneven teeth.Veneers can even be used to close up gaps between teeth, or give the impression of longer teeth, giving you the smile you’ve always dreamed of.
If you decide that veneers are right for you then the process is fairly straightforward. We begin by assessing your existing teeth to make sure they are strong and healthy enough to support a veneer. We will usually plan the treatment using our DSD, Digital Smile Design, service and once you are happy with the proposed look we will then shape the existing tooth to allow space for the veneer to sit over the top and make a mould of the front teeth.
Moulds of your teeth are then sent to our specialist laboratory where dental technicians will create your perfectly shaped and coloured veneers as agreed in the design phase. During this time provisional veneers are fitted often created from the original smile design, so you already feel there is an improvement. Once they are delivered back to us we will fit them leaving you looking and feeling natural and confident with your smile.

Veneers are cared for in the same way you would your natural teeth and with the right care they should last for a number of years. Having veneers fitted is a minimally invasive procedure with a wealth of benefits, providing an immediate improvement in the appearance of your teeth and transforming your smile and that is why it is one of our most popular cosmetic treatments.
Alternative or additional treatments may be advised in order to preserve tooth structure, such as teeth straightening and tooth coloured, composite, restorations – all of this can be discussed and explained to you following a consultation and with our DSD where you can even have a trial smile to see the results before you have to commit.
