Meg graduated from Cardiff University in July 2013 with the Diploma in Dental Hygiene (Merit). Meg is currently furthering her clinical and theoretical knowledge pathway by successfully completing the first year of study for an MSc in Dental Hygiene with The Eastman Dental Institute, London.
Originally qualifying as a Dental Nurse in 2009 Meg then augmented this qualification with Dental Radiology, the Certificate for Oral Health Educators and Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector. As you can tell teaching and education is one of Meg’s passions and she continues to partake in her examiner’s role for the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses.
Meg founded and continues to run the dental educational charity BrushUpUK. ‘BrushUpUK believe that everyone should have the knowledge, skills and access to maintain a good standard of oral health.’ Since 2015 BrushUpUK have educated over 11,000 people from 14 vulnerable groups, please visit www.brushupuk.com for further information.
In her spare time Meg enjoys swimming, cycling, and spending time with family and friends.
