Thankfully the plan still holds and we are now able to do a little more socially.
However, guidance for the dental profession remains largely unaltered. In order to keep patients safe we are still asking patients to wear face coverings when inside the practice until they are inside the surgery for their appointment; our staff will be doing the same.
We welcome back our lounge and invite our patients to wait inside should they wish, once they have come to the reception window to notify us of their arrival. The front door will remain locked and we still request when it is safe to do so that patients attend on their own for their appointments.
We can then manage the number of people inside at any one time and help keep everyone safe. We will space the chairs sensibly and again ask patients to continue to wear their face covering when not enjoying a beverage.
Similarly for the next few weeks we shall keep the magazines and newspapers away and ask you to frequently alcohol gel your hands.
The screen at reception will also remain in place but our staff will no longer be required to wear individual face protection if working behind it.
We are delighted nearly 100% of our staff have had both vaccinations which is the fantastic since this is a huge step in keeping EVERYONE safe.
Our small change in protocol remains largely in keeping with the retail and national guidance in other areas and we thank you for your continued support.⠀⠀
